| Аннотация | The unique collaboration of our two universities began almost twenty years ago, a considerable length of time for any partnership, but especially for an international one. It has been marked by uninterrupted and continually developing and expanding programs, by the cordial relations of the institutions, and by the friendships of specific individuals. By introducing this book we also have the pleasure of introducing one of our successful projects, now in its fifth year, joindy administered by our two universities - Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St. Petersburg) and the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, USA). This summer program of Russian culture for American students has proven extraordinarily productive, limited neither by the level of students' Russian nor by their major areas of study. |
