| Аннотация | This book presents a selection of invited and contributed papers to first FrenchRussian Conference on "Longevity, Aging and Degradation Models in Reliability, Public Health, Medicine and Biology", LAD'2004, that has become actually an international conference. It includes some articles providing an up-to-date survey of new models and methods for statistical simulation of Bio-engineering System Aging: applications to Public Health, Quality of Life and Nuclear and Thermal Power Industry. The articles contain broad coverage of the latest development and innovative techniques in a wide range of theoretical and practical issues. The idea of the conference is to assemble researchers from universities, laboratories and researchers institutions in Probability, Statistics and Applied Mathematics working in different fields, bio-medical applications or reliability mainly in Russia and France, but also in Europe and other countries. are The book gathers interesting contributions, among which many mathematically or statistically oriented. Many examples or applications are included on reliability engineering and public health. |
