| Аннотация | The intention of this treatise is to report and discuss some basic scientific results mainly within experimental skin carcinogenesis on mice, and to present in a supplement my personal view on the implications of these results in a wider public context. In Part A there are eight papers reporting basic skin carcinogenesis studies on hairless and SENCAR mice. In Part B the results of this basic scientific work is also discussed in relation to other evidence, e.g. from cell cultures and from epidemiology, and my personal view on the reaction of the community with its regulatory agencies, its green movements and the varying attitudes which were also clearly demonstrated at the conference on the protection of our environment in Bergen in May 1990. |
